Events
NOTE: We are holding a modified Evening of Remembrance on Thursday, May 13th at 6:00 pm. Please see this page for more information. If you have your child's remains held at Mankato Mortuary for this service, this service will include a burial.
Evening of Remembrance
All families who have been touched by pregnancy loss and newborn death are invited to our Evening of Remembrance events. We hold these on the second Thursday in May and the first Tuesday in October - both beginning at 6:00 pm. The service is ecumenical – they will include a burial service for families who have recently lost a child in miscarriage (as needed), music, prayers, special readings, and reflection.
We also invite all families who have been touched by pregnancy loss and newborn death to place a flower at the burial urn (or memorial site if there is no burial). We will provide flowers, but you may also bring your own if you would like.
